According to news from Sina Mobile 27th, June, 2017, Lenovo just released its new smartphone called Moto Z2 Play, highlights of which are still ultra slim, dual-core laser focus and modular features. JBL Soundboost 2 was also release at the same time providing instant high quality JBL sound.
Moto Z2 play is 5.99mm in thickness and 145g in weight, which is ultra slim and light weighted aimed to match its related modules, and Z2 Play is installed with a 1080P 5.5 inch Super AMOLED screen provided by Samsung covered by durable Corning® Gorilla® Glass and our water-repellent nano coating.
Z2 Play is equipped with an eight Cores Gualcomm Snapdragon 626 and has 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM; In order to maintain its ultra slim features, Z2 Play has a 3000mAh battery, though not big enough, supporting TurboPower quick charge.
As for photographic parts, Moto Z2 play does not apply the hot dual camera solution, and is equipped with a 12 million full pixel dual autofocus pixels plus laser autofocus camera with 1.4μm large pixels and f/1.7 large aperture. The 85 degree wide-angle front camera of Z2 Play is 5 million pixels.
The smartphone has a smart system and is featured for Moto Voice; the former one enables the automatic cleaning of application cache and mobile memory garbage and the latter one makes complete voice control over the smartphone feasible.
Z2 Play perfectly supports all Moto Mods modules released in the past like projection module, HASSELBLAD TRUE ZOOM module, battery module and back cover module, etc. The upgraded JBL Soundboost 2 module is nano coated which resists splash and rain.
Tough Google stopped its development on modular smartphones, and Motorola’s modules are different from traditional ones, Lenovo’s trial is another way of development of the future phones.
